Products and Solutions Exposition at Calcutta Club
12th Oct, 2010, Kolkata: Canon India Pvt. Ltd. and Somnet Dynagraphics Pvt. Ltd. jointly executed its Products and Solutions Exposition at Calcutta Club, Kolkata, on 23rd September 2010 with all its Government clientele.The theme of the event was e-governance. The purpose behind organizing this event was to spread the concept of e-governance among the Government clientele.
Directors of Somnet Dynagraphics Pvt. Ltd, Mr. Shantanu Som and Mr. Subrata Mukherjee; Senior Manager Government business of Canon India Pvt. Ltd. , Mr. Goutam Paul; Mr. Gautam Dev, Manager Government accounts (East) of Canon India Pvt. Ltd, Mr. Gurupada Biswas; Business Manager of Canon India Pvt. Ltd, Mr. Ramlesh Singh were present on the occasion.
The program was enumerated through various presentations.
Mr. Ramlesh Singh presented the Business scenario of Canon India and the products related with solution. He detailed Canon’s products, its services, its growth, Current Market Share & also the Future Plans.
Mr. Gurupada Biswas presented ‘Partnering Government: Bridging the “e” in Governance’. He explained ‘how to improve the workflow’, ‘how “e” is helping to improve the workflow of an organization, ‘partnering Government: Bridging the “e” in Governance’, ‘how Canon Imaging products improve the workflow’, ‘why imaging is essential for e-Governance’, ‘latest technologies in Canon Imaging product which will improve the organizational workflow’, and that ‘Canon has been presented with the Green Channel Award’.
Mr. Shantanu Som basically dealt with the concept and effectiveness of paper-less office and digitization of documents with Canon Document Scanners. He talked about some of our top Government Customers who are befitted with our Document Management Solution. He said “going paperless can save money, enhance productivity, make digitized records and information sharing simpler and reduce carbon foot print”.
Mr.Som elucidated Somnet’s iDOC (Document Management software) and iLIB (Digital Library software) and the other upcoming software like myLab (Laboratory Information Management software), OmniPACS (Tele-Radiology software) and OPENMuse (Museum Management software).
